A SOM DO DARMA Produção e Comunicação em Cultura é uma nova empresa do setor musical que está sempre antenada às novas tendências do mercado. Priorizamos o aspecto cultural/artístico de nossas bandas e músicos na prestação de serviços de assessoria de imprensa, booking, empresariamento e produção artística em geral.
SOM DO DARMA Produção e Comunicação em Cultura is a new Brazilian musical company which is always aware about the tendencies of the market. We give priority for the cultural and artistic aspects of our bands and musicians when offering services of press, booking, management and musical production.

LUMINA: Trio de free-jazz/fusion formado pelos experientes músicos Fábio Fernandes (bateria), Johny Murata (guitarras e sintetizadores) e o renomado baixista Sizão Machado que já tocou com Elis Regina, Djavan, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, Chet Baker, Herbie Memm, Jim Hall, Randy Brecker, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira entre muitos outros artistas consagrados do Brasil e exterior. O grupo lançou seu primeiro CD intitulado "Project" e vem agora apresentando sua turnê “Fractais” para todo Brasil.
LUMINA is a free-jazz/fusion instrumental trio formed by the experienced musicians Fábio Fernandes (drums), Johny Murata (guitars and synths) and the worldwide famous bass player Sizão Machado who have played with Elis Regina, Djavan, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Ivan Lins, Chet Baker, Herbie Memm, Jim Hall, Randy Brecker, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira among others. The group released their first full length album called "Project" and now is touring all over Brazil.
APOCALYPSE: O maior nome do rock progressivo brasileiro que em 2008 completa 25 anos de estrada. São nove discos já lançados no Brasil e Europa – inclusive um álbum gravado ao vivo nos Estados Unidos durante a primeira excursão internacional na banda. Nesse ano eles se preparam para lançar seu novo disco – Bridge Of Light – que também terá versão em DVD.
APOCALYPSE is the most famous name in the Brazilian progressive rock scene. In 2008 they will complete 25 years on the road. They have nine albums released in Brazil and Europe – one recorded live in US during their first international tour. This year they will release their new album – Bridge Of Light – with a DVD version as well.
HELLISH WAR: O Hellish War vem de Campinas e há 12 anos se mantêm fiel ao seu estilo peculiar de fazer heavy metal clássico. Seu primeiro álbum foi lançado em 2001 (Defender Of Metal) e obteve uma calorosa recepção da imprensa do Brasil e no exterior, principalmente na Alemanha, Japão e Portugal. Varreram o país tocando de norte a sul, destacando-se as apresentações junto ao alemão UDO no Directv em São Paulo e no Moinho São Roque em Curitiba quando abriram o show para os ingleses do Saxon. Em 2008 estão lançando seu novo álbum: Heroes Of Tomorrow.
HELLISH WAR is for 12 years on the road now and they were always true to their original formula when making classic metal. Their first full length was released in 2001 (Defender Of Metal) and got a very enthusiastic reception from press in Brazil and outsides, mainly in Germany, Japan and Portugal. They toured all over the Brazilian territory and did some very special gigs such as the shows with the German metal legend Udo Dirkschneider and with the NWOBHM masters Saxon. This year (2008) they did release their brand new album: Heroes Of Tomorrow.
U-GANGA: Banda mineira do ex-baterista do Sarcófago, Manu Joker, que aposta na fusão do hard core, metal e dub. Há 14 anos na estrada, o U-Ganga já lançou três demos e dois CD’s oficiais - Atitude Lótus de 2003 e Na Trilha do Homem de Bem de 2006. Esse último foi produzido por Riti Santiago (More Tools, Rumbora, Israel Vibration). Participaram de várias coletâneas e realizaram constantes giros por todo o Brasil.
U-GANGA comes from Minas Gerais which is a legendary Brazilian state for metal and rock music. With lyrics in Portuguese, the band’s frontman is the ex-Sarcófago drummer, Manu Joker, and their sonority gathers different elements from hard core, metal and dub. They are for 14 years on the road and have released three demos and two full length albums - Atitude Lótus (2003) and Na Trilha do Homem de Bem (2006). Their last album was produced by Riti Santiago, a very famous Brazilian producer. They have many compilations appearances and have toured all over Brazil and South America.
BANDA DO SOL: Antigo grupo de rock progressivo do interior paulista liderado pelo vocalista, violinista e guitarrista Moacir Jr. que durante a década de 80 ficou famoso com o programa televisivo “Bambalalão” e por uma carreira-solo recheada de parcerias ao lado de renomadas bandas e músicos como Guilherme Arantes, Walter Franco, Beto Guedes, 14 Bis, etc. Depois de um longo período desativada, a Banda do Sol retomou as atividades fazendo uma série de shows comemorativos. Preparam-se agora para gravação de um novo DVD que vai incluir antigos clássicos e composições inéditas.
BANDA DO SOL is a legendary progressive rock band leaded by the vocalist and guitar player Moacir Jr that is famous for the making of a TV show during the 80th’s and for a very successful solo career playing with such important musicians like Guilherme Arantes, Walter Franco, Beto Guedes, 14 Bis, etc. After some years of silence, Banda Do Sol is back on the road. They did some reunion shows and now are preparing a brand new DVD with some old classics and unreleased songs always written in Portuguese.
RAVENLAND: O Ravenland é a grande aposta de Ricardo Confessori (Shaman/Angra) como produtor. O baterista vem produzindo o primeiro disco desse quinteto de metal gótico que é aguardado com muita expectativa. O álbum está sendo masterizado na Alemanha por ninguém menos que Waldemar Sorychta (Lacuna Coil, Therion, Moonspell, Tiamat, etc). Tommy Lindal, do Theatre of Tragedy, é outra personalidade a figurar no debute da banda que deve sair em breve. O Ravenland é muito ativo em termos de palcos. Já participou de diversos festivais góticos e ganhou vários prêmios, em destaque o Morcego de Ouro como “melhor banda de 2007”. É certamente a maior revelação do rock/metal tupiniquim do momento.
RAVENLAND is the new child of Ricardo Confessori (Angra/Shaman drummer). He did produce and played drums on the very first album of this Brazilian goth rockers. Waldemar Sorychta (Lacuna Coil, Therion, Moonspell, Tiamat, etc) is taking care of the mastering in Germany. Tommy Lindal (Theatre of Tragedy) is another famous name appearing on the album expected for a july/2008 release. Ravenland is very active in terms of stage and have played the most important goth festivals in Brazil. They were also elected as the “best band in 2007” and won the “Morcego de Ouro” award. Is for sure the most promising rock/metal Brazilian band nowadays.
DEVENTTER: Nova revelação do rock/metal progressivo segundo o baterista Mike Portnoy. O Deventter vem de Campinas/SP e lançou no ano passado (2007) seu primeiro álbum. Intitulado The 7th Dimension, o disco alcançou números expressivos de vendas – já que trata-se de uma banda independente – e obteve várias criticas positivas na mídia especializada do Brasil e exterior. Já tocaram com o Tempestt, Thessera, Mindflow e outras bandas “progs” do Brasil. Recentemente foram convidados por Mike Portnoy para fazer a abertura para o show do Dream Theater em Belo Horizonte.
DEVENTTER was pointed by the famous drummer Mike Portnoy, as one of the best prog rock/metal bands in Brazil nowadays. They have released their first album called The 7th Dimension in 2007. The record got very impressive sales numbers and positive reviews in press (Brazil and outsides). They have played with other Brazilian prog bands such as Tempestt, Thessera and Mindflow and recently were invited by Mike Portnoy to be the supporting act of Dream Theater’s last Brazilian tour.
LAUDANY: Banda de rock/metal que em 2005 lançou seu disco de estréia (Trials And Punishments) e foi destaque nos principais meios de comunicação especializados do país. Fizeram shows em todo Brasil incluindo participações nos principais festivais e eventos como a Expomusic. Tocaram ao lado de artistas renomados como os portugueses do Moonspell e a banda paulista Shaman, e também foram indicados duas vezes para o Prêmio Toddy de Música Independente. No momento a Laudany se prepara para gravar seu segundo e novo disco intitulado Evolução.
LAUDANY is a rock/metal Brazilian band that has released your debut album in 2005 (Trials And Punishments) which leaded the band to a very impressive media exposure. They played all over the country and did some festivals appearances including a special gig during Expomusic, the most important Brazilian music fair. They played with international famous names such as Moonspell and Shaman and were nominated twice for the Prêmio Toddy de Música Independente award. In this moment Laudany is recording your next effort, tentatively called Evolução.
AMYR CANTUSIO JR.: Autoridade máxima da música progressiva/eletrônica do Brasil, o multi-instrumentista Amyr Cantusio Jr. foi o líder do grupo Alpha III que fez um grande sucesso na década de 70 com dezenas de álbuns lançados no Brasil e exterior. Atualmente Amyr também desenvolve projetos no campo da música erudita e ministra seminários com temas metafísicos, já que é mestre espiritual iniciado em várias ordens e doutrinas.
AMYR CANTUSIO JR is the top authority in the progressive/electronic camp here in Brazil. He is a multi-instrumental musician and for many years leaded the legendary project Alpha III that has released a bunch of albums during the seventies. Nowadays Amyr has a successful career on the classical music as well and is always making some seminars about metaphysical subjects, as he is a spiritual guru.

Eliton Tomasi é formado em análise de sistemas mas foi como editor de música e produtor cultural que se consolidou profissionalmente. Por 12 anos a frente da revista Valhalla (Rock Hard) – uma das maiores publicações especializadas em rock do Brasil e do mundo – se tornou uma dos mais experientes e renomados críticos de rock do país. Sua experiência vai além do setor editorial já que por 12 anos também atua como produtor de shows e eventos tendo já realizado desde pequenos eventos até produções internacionais de grande porte. Também sempre atuou como empresário e produtor de bandas e artistas do Brasil e exterior.
Eliton Tomasi is I.T. graduated, but has established professionally as musical publisher and cultural producer. For 12 years he leaded Valhalla magazine (Rock Hard) – one of the most important rock magazines of the world – and turned one of the most respected rock critics in Brazil. He is also very experienced as a concerts producer and had produced some big international productions and other smaller ones. He was also always involved with the management of some bands and musicians from Brazil and outsides.
